Founded in 1778 to serve the Continental Army under General George Washington, the US Army Military Police have a long tradition of maintaining law and order among military units, serving over two centuries. Over 200,000 MP troops served during the Second World War.

The WWII US Army MP was designed by Landon Reimer and has artwork based on the M1916 Holster, M1938 MP White Gaiters, and MP Armband.
