The average British officer had the tough job of managing troops on the Western Front. Often plagued by low morale and tough conditions, these officers had to maintain order while commanding troops in the trenches. They were also faced with trying to keep their men alive during the horrors of gas attacks and heavy artillery. Artwork for the WWI British Officer was designed by Landon Reimer, and is based on standard British uniforms during the Great War.
