About the Saturday Afternoon Matinee Playset Part 1 - Encore Edition:

When attempting to recover long lost artifacts from the hands of evil fascists, things rarely go smoothly. Often it takes a rugged protagonist using unconventional means and a rag-tag group of allies to stop such a sinister plot. Over the course of an action-packed 115-minute adventure, it’s highly plausible that said protagonist may find themselves in a high-speed car chase over rough desert terrain while said fascists attempt to ship a holy relic back to their European headquarters. This would most certainly lead to a series of cinematic stunts that ultimately culminate in a successful retrieval for the protagonist as well as the deaths of several fascist henchmen. Then again, maybe it’s just some dudes out in the desert going for a drive. You decide.

This kit features two builds both, with an absurd amount of custom printed details. The staff car and truck each feature insignias, dust and woodgrain details, and much more. Play features include opening doors, a holy relic crate, mounted BrickArms, and four custom minifigs. This set belongs in a museum! 

Encore Edition:

We are bringing back this legendary kit due to popular demand from those who missed out the first time around. Some details on the builds have been modified to reflect current parts availability and build techniques. New artwork was also created to highlight our improved printing capabilities, versus what we had when the original kit was released. This is not merely a re-issue, but a fully updated reboot.
