In May 1982 a group of British SAS commandos silently canoed to a remote island airstrip in the Falkland’s. Once there they hiked to a remote observation post and dug in, relaying their findings to another team of SAS operatives who orchestrated a raid. Using mortar and artillery fire they attacked and demolished several buildings, planes, and supply routes severely limiting enemy air power.
