About Natasha - WWII Seabees Bulldozer:

Featured in the John Wayne classic The Fighting Seabees, the bulldozer named Natasha was part of the equipment used by the naval construction battalions known as Seabees — the nickname comes from the initials of their official designation: Construction Battalion or C.B. Born from the need for infrastructure on small islands in the South Pacific, the Seabees were tasked with various projects such as repairing airfields and roadways, all to be completed under the most difficult and dangerous of circumstances. Their ingenuity was legendary as they were known to fix equipment in unorthodox ways, including using oil drums to craft bulldozer radiators. Upon their creation, Admiral Ben Moreell bestowed them with their official motto Construimus, Batuimus: "We Build, We Fight."
