About the HUMVEE® M1025 Armament Carrier - With 1st Recon Marines

The job of the Recon Marines is to infiltrate enemy territory by air, sea, or land and to provide reconnaissance out in front of the main attacking force. During the 2003 invasion of Iraq, a large contingent of Recon Marines were dispatched ahead of the main ground assault force. The Recon Marines chose HUMVEES as their mode of transport; being rugged, speedy, versatile, and readily available for use: each transporting up to five Marines, various supplies, and supporting heavy weapons such as the M2HB machine gun or MK19 grenade launcher.

For our first kit in this series, we have chosen to replicate the lead HUMVEES of Bravo Company; a uniquely camouflaged M1025 Armament Carrier with a Mk19 in the turret. This kit includes four marines, including the team leader, and an embedded correspondent from a prestigious music journal. Lots of spare gear is stowed on the outside of the vehicle, including camouflaged netting, spare tire, a rear gypsy rack, and lots of communication aerials.

The kit itself incorporates many new design features, including new body shape, to more realistically convey the looks of the famous HUMVEE. Most noticeable is the massive number of printed parts in the model (119, not including minifigures and accessories). The five fully printed custom minifigures include a selection of custom elements from Brickmania and BrickArms, including three Perfect Caliber ammo box for the BrickArms MK19 and M4 ACOG. Also making the debut on this kit are new Legacy LC1 Rucksack premium custom 3D printed elements.

This is truly a top tier Brickmania kit, intended for the most elite level custom brick enthusiasts.
