About the Exoatmospheric Insertion Pod with 26th Century Shock Trooper:

Hurtling through a planet’s atmosphere, the Orbital Drop Pod is designed for one purpose: delivering specialized infantry directly into hostile territory at extraordinary speed.

Launched from an orbiting spacecraft, each pod carries a single soldier through the atmosphere, then brakes hard for a controlled impact. Its compact design minimizes the time between deployment and ground contact, reducing the enemy’s opportunity to respond.

Promoting tactical surprise, the Orbital Drop Pod eschews conventional landing zones in order to insert personnel into difficult-to-reach areas behind enemy lines. The approach carries considerable risks, demanding specialized training, precise coordination, and equipment capable of withstanding extreme acceleration and atmospheric heating. But the Pods enable shock deployment: troops arrive fast, establish a foothold, and complete the objective before the opposition can react. As the Pods scream toward the battlefield, the troops inside plunge feet first into hell.
