During Germany’s campaign in North Africa important and confidential messages traveled many miles to their destination. Often the means of transport was via motorcycle messenger, which was usually the cheapest method. Able to easily traverse difficult terrain, motorcycle messengers played an essential role in reconnaissance and the relay of crucial information in major combat front throughout World War II.
