Used heavily by the Soviet and British forces, the BRC-40 Bantik was considered equal if not superior to its competitors. Soviet forces utilized the Bantik as a command vehicle and even preferred it to its eventual successors, but production ceased after 2,600 samples due to the economic potential of their competing producers.
