Playing a vital role in communications within the German war machine, radio trucks such as the Kfz.2 were essential in every campaign throughout all of World War II. This particular model is that of the DAK (Deutsches Afrikakorps) under the lead of Erwin Rommel. Being that North Africa was a giant portion of land to control and conquer, radio trucks were the key to Rommel’s well-coordinated success corresponding troops/armor correctly and quickly.
