The 3.7cm Flak 37 was the main medium caliber Anti-Aircraft gun used by the German armed forces in World War II. Its characteristics were in many ways comparable to the Bofors 40mm anti-aircraft guns in Allied service. The Flak 37 (and later variants) were mounted to many types of vehicles for mobile anti-aircraft coverage.
This model was designed to be the event kit for World War Brick 2014 and was given as a gift to each attendee who purchased a Weekend Pass. Of course we made some extra kits for the public attendees. Lucky for you there were a few left over and we're offering them to our mail order customers while they last. We also made a special powder blue Luftwaffe Crewman minifig for use with this model - each sold separately.
