A 1/35 scale model of this formidible German medium tank of World War II. Feared by all who opposed it for it's lethal high-velocity 75mm gun, good mobility and highly trained crews, the Panther tank formed the backbone of German panzer units for the last two years of the war. It was better armed, armored and more mobile than the more famous Tiger heavy tank, and is considered by many to be the best over-all tank design of World War II. The Ausf. G variant was the final version of the Panther to roll off the assembly lines, correcting alot of deficiencies found when the Aus.f D and A model was used on the battlefield. This is perfect for dioramas depicting the final Allied push into Germany (or the defense of the Fatherland — depending on your point of view).

Brickmania previously released Panther kits in 2003, 2009, and 2010. While these were among the most popular Brickmania kits ever made, quantities built were relatively small due to limited parts availability. To meet growing demand we are re-releasing the Panther kit in an updated version of Ausf G configuration This new kit offers greater accuracy in hull shape and equipment stowage than the previous versions.

The kit includes 3 minifigs (driver, radio operator and commander), each equipped with a BrickArms MP40 for personal defence. The model has three opening hatches for the crew, plus one on the rear deck for access to the Maybach HL230 engine. The turret is fully traversable and the main gun can be elevated up and down. This kit comes issued in tan colored bricks, but a light gray version is also available (BKM248)

This kit comes disassembled and includes completed printed building instructions, a signed certificate of authenticity, and is packaged in a sealed box.
