NEWS FLASH!

The Lego Group has just announced another new theme for 2000 called Outlaw Bikers! The new line includes these sets announced so far:

McDonald's Drive Through Rampage
(set 1313)

Copper Chopper
(set 666)

It is thought by many Lego enthusiasts to be "too little too late" to save the Town theme after years of wimpification.

This Outlaw Biker Theme spoof appeared in the courtyard in winter 1999 and proved to be a big hit. More than one person was actually fooled that this was a serious new line of Lego brand products, if only briefly. Suprisingly I have not yet been approached by TLC's legal team over the obvious misues of their trademark - perhaps someone at the TLC has a sense of humor as well!

Here's another view of some of my biker "club," all riding Harley's and Indians based on the old Fabuland motorcycle element. That big side car on the middle bike contains a Vulcan canon, of which the barrels rotate when the mototcyle is in motion. Careful inspection of the parking lot (directly to the right of the Lesbian couple on the white Harley) reveals that Han Solo was run over by the orange steam roller immediately before this picture was taken. My "club" is always recruiting, so anyone with Fabuland motorcycles to trade are always welcome to send me an email with a wants list. I will also take new members (on loan orotherwise) for guest appearances on the GMLTC's train layout displays. We are an non discriminatory "club", so Jap bikes and Eurotrash are also welcome.

Disclaimer: The GMLTC neither condones or encourages the type of behavior depicted on Brickmania's web site - in fact I have no idea why they put up with me at all!
