Gallery Description This is a 1/4 minifig scale (1:152 over-all ratio) Cleveland class light cruiser. I originally planned to build it minifig scale and this model started out test design for the hull shape. After the hull was completed it looked so nice I decided to finish it in this scale and abandon my plans for a large model. Notice that the curve of the hull and the deck are achieved completely by flexing the joints in the bricks and plates, making for very clean, un-Lego-like lines. This test worked out so well I later used it again for the hull of Battleship USS Missouri (built at a slightly larger 1:128 scale). This model won the award for "Best Earth Craft" at the 2008 Brickworld event.
