Gallery - Bloodstone Castle
Gallery Description
Bloodstone Castle was the largest castle structure I have ever built. I started the model in 1997 but only made it half way through construction before running out of bricks. The incomplete model survived moving to a new house and was slowly completed over the next three years as my building budget was severely limited. The castle was built in sections no wider than 24 inches so it could be easily moved from room to room (or house to house as it happened). If I had more space I would have built a town and surrounding curtain wall but that never panned out. In 2001 the castle was dismantled and most of the bricks were absorbed into the GMLTC collection.
